SUMMARY:The Kashmir Martyrs’ Day: Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir
DESCRIPTION:Observed on July 13 every year not only on both sides of the Line of Control but also all over the world by the Kashmiris to pay homage to 22 Kashmiris who were martyred in 1931 to free Kashmir from the brutalities of despotic Dogra rulers. The tragic day is the milestone in the history of Kashmiri struggle against foreign occupation. It was revolt against atrocities on July 13\, 1931 when people rose against the autocratic Dogra rule and protested against the prosecution of sympathizer of Kashmir struggle\, Abdul Qadeer Khan Ghazi. Since then over 300\,000 Muslims of Kashmir have been Martyred by the Indian Occupying Soldiers.

SUMMARY:Thaw in India-Pak relations and Kashmir imbroglio: The way forward
DESCRIPTION:21st April 2021 marks the 73rd anniversary of the UN resolution on Kashmir passed on 21st April 1948\, after being agreed with and signed by the newly formed dominions of India and Pakistan\, ensuring a fair democratic\, peaceful solution to the issue of Jammu & Kashmir\, allowing them to determine their ultimate future.A solution that would ensure the liberties and freedoms of the people are respected. The unilateral action by the Indian government on 5th August 2019 is in direct violation of such agreements made in the UN. This move not only has shaken the confidence of the people of the disputed territory of Jammu & Kashmir but has also increased the tensions between the three nuclear-armed countries. The core fundamental rights and liberties of disputed territory people have been made non-existent by the world’s largest democracy. \n  \nSince then many events have taken place in the South Asian sub-continent that have increased the likelihood of a nuclear conflict\, however with the diplomatic approach by peace-loving people\, we have also witnessed steps that are seen as hope by some people towards a peaceful settlement\, both locally in Kashmir as well as across the globe. Many analogies have been derived from such events\, including a possible “Win-Win” solution
